We answer all your open questions about the study program and support you in planning your studies according to your needs.

Application Process

If you have any questions about the study program or if you are not sure whether the Double Master Degree in International Business Administration is right for you, simply contact our student advisory service. Here you can get a personal consultation.

For the application a professional-qualified degree (Bachelor) with business alignment and at least 180 ECTS credits whereas at least 135 ECTS credits must be reached at the time of the application are necessary. Should you not dispose the leaving certificate yet within the application procedure, we need an official compilation of your previous performances with a certification of the average grades. For the matriculation, the leaving certificate must be presented.

In order to make the application process as pleasant as possible for you, we have set up a new online application tool. You will be guided intuitively through the application process and we make sure that your application is complete and formally correct.
While logged in to the application portal, you can save your application process and upload or alter your details gradually. The completed and submitted online application meets the requirements for your application for admission – you do not have to send any documents by mail.
Yet, you have to provide the officially certified copies of your certificates or the original documents to verify the data given in your online application at the time of your enrollment at latest. If you have provided wrong information or if you do not have the required qualifications, admission will be refused.
If you have any questions about the application process, you are welcome to contact the student advisory service or our administration.

FAQ

Here you can find answers to frequently asked questions.

Application Master

You can apply for each program, with the exception of the international program, in both the summer and winter semesters.
Summer semester 15.01.
Winter semester 30.06.

Right now no online application is possible. The Eichstätt Student Office handles the application process. Further information can be found at https://www.ku.de/studieninteressenten/auslaendische-interessierte/.

It is only possible to apply for one special program, as this is a degree program.

You can also apply to us as a University of Applied Sciences graduate.

You do not need a certain number of ECTS, for example in economics or statistics. However, your bachelor’s program must have an economic background.

No waiting periods are taken into account.

Admission to another undergraduate course is referred to as a second course of study. A postgraduate, consecutive Master’s does not fall under this category.

We have no NC boundaries. Admission and assessment are based on an individual assessment procedure.

Based on the grade, plus or minus points are calculated for previous knowledge, professional experience/internships, foreign language skills/experience abroad as well as voluntary and other commitment, which increase or reduce the chances of obtaining a place at our university. If your grade is better than 2.5, you will be invited to an individual interview approximately two weeks after the application deadline.

A language certificate can improve your grade in the aptitude test, which is why we advise you to enclose proof of your application. Certificates can be official language certificates, business English or a course of study in English.
Based on the language certificates submitted, the interview can take place in English or French (with Toulouse).

Relevant previous knowledge counts for the subject of study, for example the attendance of a specialization in the subject area of the desired Master or the attendance of mostly relevant courses.

The following criteria are assessed during the selection interview:

  • Personal appearance and motivation,
  • Methodical knowledge,
  • Expertise for the specialization.

A letter of motivation is not necessary, but can strengthen the application and explain unclear points in the application. It can be sent under “Upload documents” under “Various”.

Answer the questions briefly and in short.

You do not have to submit any documents by post. An original copy of the certificates is only required after acceptance.

After the Application / Interview

You will receive your invitation approximately 5 days after the application deadline for the Master’s program.

The interview takes place two weeks after the application deadline.

A Skype interview is possible if you have more than 1000 km of experience abroad.

You will receive all the information you need to submit in your enrollment notice.

You can for example receive notarizations from local registration offices, schools or churches.

The registration documents must be submitted by post or in person.

The exact date is stated in your enrollment notice.

Change of University

In the Master’s program, it is not possible to apply for a higher semester. You can apply for credit for your performance from your University during the first semester.

No. An examination of the applications can only be carried out upon presentation of the notification of admission and the enrolment.
