Get to know us

Most people get enthusiastic about the WFI in a very short time. But what is the best way to get to know us? We offer numerous possibilities, among which there is a suitable one for everyone. WFI stands for a familiar atmosphere and that is why personal contact is highly important to us. This is why we are not only represented on social media, but also offer many events where you can experience the WFI live.

Events

With our events we offer you the opportunity to discover the different facets of the WFI throughout the year.

Personal

Nothing is more important than personal contact. In order to get the best possible answers to your questions, contact the responsible departments directly.

Social Media

To get a first impression from a distance, you can follow us on social media.

Welcome Day

The opportunity for all applicants to get to know us.
The WFI invites all prospective students and applicants to the Welcome Day in Ingolstadt. Get to know our faculty, convince yourself of our attractive studying conditions and exchange ideas with students and lecturers! On the Welcome Day, the WFI awaits you with an exciting program and invites you to get your own impression of everyday student life at the WFI. So you can, among other things:
  • learn more about studying at WFI
  • inform yourself at an early stage about organizational questions concerning the start of your studies
  • get to know prospective fellow students
  • meet WFI professors
  • get to know our student organizations

Open House

Get to know the university and its staff personally.

If you are interested in a course of study and a place to study, you are spoilt for choice. This starts with the information sources for prospective students: Internet portals, study fairs, advice from friends and acquaintances. Why not just get your own picture? Come to the open day at the Catholic University in Eichstätt and Ingolstadt and have a look at our range of courses and our university – without any obligation.

Talk to our professors and staff. You will be thrilled by the special atmosphere that you will feel during this visit and by our great campus that you can discover. If you are looking for more than just a course of study, you have come to the right place!

Science Night in Ingolstadt

For all who would like to see our campus at night.
You would like to take a peek behind the scenes of companies and universities and discover locations that are usually not easily accessible for everyone? That’s why we organize the “Ingolstadt Business and Science Night” every year. Many companies and scientific institutions in Ingolstadt, Kösching and Großmehring will open their doors for the general public. Visitors can experience technology, science and innovation, arts and culture in multifaceted presentations, experiments, guided tours, and exhibitions.

Fairs

You don’t have to come to Ingolstadt to get to know us. We also come to you!
If the way to Ingolstadt is too far for you, you can visit us at any time at various career fairs. We are not only represented in Bavaria, but all over Germany. We will be happy to give you specific and personal information and answer any questions you may have. In order to give you an impression of the student life in Ingolstadt, there are always students who are happy to answer personal and more in-depth questions.
